Hi! I'm so glad you came by to visit! I am married with two children in their 20's and two crazy furry kitties. I love to create - and especially cards!
My Mom’s creativity always amazed me. When she was sick, I saw how much it meant to her to receive cards of encouragement. The love Mom felt from all the cards received lead me to sharing my cards with people I know.
My love of card making has led me to creating this blog! When I'm not in my craft room with my crazy kitties (who think they protect me) you will find me out in my garden.
If you see something you like or want a card made for you, drop me a note. I would love to hear from you!
It’s no surprise that I love my cats. In fact I have one 4 year old orange tabby named Thor and a wild and crazy kitten named Khaleesi. Both fur babies are rescues-Thor from the roadside, thrown there in a box and Khali was abandoned by her momma. I love making cat cards and I made this one for a church friend who had been in the hospital. This cat was colored to look like her cat ‘Sprinkles’.
Products used are #stampsoflife scallop dropin, cat2pudgie stamp and dies, #tsol embellishments. #sizzix
After creating 35 cards to send out for Christmas this year it was so fun to jump into my birthday card papers and dies. I know my sweet daughter will love it-especially the red accents-her favorite color!
The Stamps of Life products used are: rounded card with circle drop ins, #thestampsoflife embellishments and card kit papers.
When I have a friend who isn’t feeling well, it’s nice to have a card or two on hand to send and cheer them up. Then there are times I enjoy making a card for that person and while I’m making it, I’m also keeping a prayer for that person. There is always time for prayer…
Whether you celebrate with a crowd or quietly at home, just the concept of “New Year” makes you think of a fresh start. While on vacation this Christmas season I took the time to sit by my tree with my coffee and just relax — yes! I really did! hahaha It was so nice to re-energize and get ready for whatever may be in store this coming year. I hope you took time to relax and enjoy as well. Happy New Year!!
Christmastime is such a fun time to share joy and celebrate His birth. It is always busy for our family at Christmas with our church activities of singing our cantata – 3X this year! I’m never too busy to sit and create in my craft room. Here are a few creations from this past season……
